Here are some figures you should know, with data from the National Electoral Institute of Mexico (INE).
How many positions are chosen?
At the federal level, they are chosen 500 members of the Chamber of Deputies.
Between these, 300 deputations are elected by the principle of relative majority, and 200 by the principle of proportional representation. These positions are the competence of the National Electoral Institute.
At the local level, they are chosen fifteen governorships and 1,063 councils.
As for the municipalities, they are chosen 1,923 presidencies, 2,057 receiverships, 14,222 regidurías and 204 councilors.
In addition there are auxiliary positions of municipal boards, 22 presidencies, 22 receiverships, 88 regidurías, and community, with 299 presidencies.
These positions are the responsibility of local public bodies.
