Covid Lombardy, today 1,003 infections. In Milan 279 cases: the data

There are 1,003 new coronavirus infections in Lombardy according to data from today’s bulletin, May 20. Another 22 deaths have been recorded, bringing the total death toll to 33,438 since the start of the covid-19 pandemic. The swabs carried out since yesterday are 44,109 (of which 27,773 molecular and 16,336 antigenic) for a total of 10,289,952, the positivity index is 2.2%. The recovered / discharged patients are 758,880 (+1,840), while those hospitalized in intensive care drop to 316 (-21) and those hospitalized not in intensive care to 1,755 (-165). There are 279 new coronavirus positives recorded in the province of Milan in the last 24 hours, of which 109 in Milan city. As for the other provinces of Lombardy, there are 73 new cases in Bergamo, in Brescia 125, in Como 92, in Cremona 30, in Lecco 32, in Lodi 6, in Mantua 52, in the province of Monza and Brianza 74, in Pavia 34, in Sondrio 32 and Varese 132. As regards vaccines, 427,593 people in the 40-49 age group have signed up to the booking so far. Participation in the vaccination campaign for the under 40 age group started yesterday evening just before 10pm. To date, 5 million doses administered have been reached in Lombardy.
