The state will pay less for policyholders: The government threw healthcare overboard, says Hlas-SD – Topky.sk

The head of the Ministry of Finance, Igor Matovič (OĽANO), therefore asked the Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský (OĽANO nominee) at the end of September to commit the funds in the mentioned amount, according to the document available to TASR.

The Ministries of Finance and Health have not yet responded to the request for an opinion. The state pays health insurance for, for example, seniors, children, students, women on maternity leave or the unemployed.

Voice-SD criticizes the reduction of payment for state policyholders by 232 million euros

The non-parliamentary Voice-SD criticizes the reduction of payment for state policyholders. It should fall by 232 million euros. As the deputy of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic and the chairman of the non-parliamentary party Peter Pellegrini stated on Monday, by such a step “the government threw the Slovak healthcare system overboard”.

He pointed to a document in which the head of the Ministry of Finance, Igor Matovič (OĽANO), at the end of September asked the Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský (OĽANO nominee) to commit the funds in the mentioned amount.

Pellegrini called on the Minister of Health to stand up to Matovič and refused to release these funds and to maintain the amount of the budget for health care at the level approved by the National Council of the Slovak Republic. The state will pay less for its policyholders this year.
