Covid India, over 200 thousand new infections for the second consecutive day

The Indian government today reported 211,298 new cases of Coronavirus infection and 3847 deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, with a total of 27,369,093 positive cases and 315,235 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic. This is the second consecutive day in which the number of cases exceeds 200,000 after Tuesday, which resulted below this threshold for the first time in a month. A period that recorded, for three consecutive weeks, more than 300 thousand infections a day, and even – for four days – more than 400 thousand. The active cases in the country are currently 2,419,907, 75,684 fewer than the day before, the total number of patients healed is 24,633,951, of these 283,135 in the last 24 hours.
