Mali: the economy weakened by instability and the pandemic

Following the inauguration of Colonel Assimi Goïta as interim president of Mali, and the appointment of a Prime Minister for the transition period, Info Éco is interested in the Malian economy. An economy weakened by years of political and security instability and very dependent on exports of raw materials and transfers from the diaspora. But the country can hope to reap a “demographic dividend” if it invests in education and health.
