Tarcisio Burgnich died, ‘the Rock’ was 82 years old

Tarcisio Burgnich, former coach and former Italian footballer of Europe in 1968 and vice world champion in 1970 with the Italian national team, died in Versilia at the age of 82. Among the most iconic defenders of world football, Burgnich was nicknamed ‘the Rock’. “When it was good he was worried all the forwards, I talked about it some time ago with Riva: ‘what a bad Sunday when Tarcisio plays'”.
