There are 445 new coronavirus infections in Emilia Romagna according to data from today’s bulletin, 18 August. There are 3 deaths in the last 24 hours. Since yesterday, 24,502 swabs have been performed, the positivity rate is 1.8%. The average age of new positives today is 37.9 years. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Rimini with 85 new cases, then Reggio Emilia (49) and then Modena (42) and Parma (41). Followed by Ravenna and Piacenza (both 38), Bologna (37), Forlì (36), Ferrara (33), Cesena (28) and the Imolese district (18). The active cases, that is the actual patients, to date are 13,390 (-36 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home are a total of 12,974 (-47), 96.9% of the total number of active cases. There are 47 patients admitted to intensive care (+3 compared to yesterday), 369 those in the other Covid departments (+8). On the territory, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 2 in Piacenza (unchanged compared to yesterday), 3 in Parma (unchanged), 3 in Reggio Emilia (+1), 10 in Modena (+1), 11 in Bologna (-1), 2 in Imola (unchanged), 8 in Ferrara (unchanged), 2 in Cesena (+1), 1 in Ravenna (unchanged), 5 in Rimini (+1). No hospitalization in Forlì: a total of 13,312 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic. Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, extended to all citizens over 12 years of age. At 3 pm a total of 5,550,477 doses were administered; out of the total, 2,539,152 people have completed the vaccination cycle.
