Covid Abruzzo, today 144 infections and 2 deaths: May 14 bulletin

There are 144 new coronavirus infections today May 14 in Abruzzo, according to data from the latest bulletin. There are another 2 deaths. As communicated by the Regional Health Department, the total number of deaths rises to 2,452: in the last 24 hours an 85-year-old from the province of Teramo and an 87-year-old from the province of L’Aquila have died. The number of positive cases also includes 63692 discharged / healed (+265 compared to yesterday). The currently positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / recovered and deceased from the total of positives) are 6886 (-124 compared to yesterday). Since the start of the Coronavirus emergency, a total of 1064608 molecular swabs have been performed (+4361 compared to yesterday) and 438510 antigen tests (+1841 compared to yesterday). The positivity rate, calculated on the sum of molecular swabs and antigen tests of the day, is equal to 2.3 percent. Two hundred and fifteen patients (-20 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in non-intensive care; 19 (-1 compared to yesterday with 0 new hospitalizations) in intensive care, while the other 6652 (-103 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL. Of the total number of positive cases, 18302 are resident or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+41 compared to yesterday), 18966 in the province of Chieti (+54), 17986 in the province of Pescara (+21), 17028 in the province of Teramo ( +25), 565 outside the region (+4) and 183 (-2) for which provenance checks are underway.
