There are 171 coronavirus infections in Friuli Venezia Giulia today, April 18, 2022, according to numbers and covid data from the region’s bulletin. There are no deaths. In detail, 30 new infections were detected on 976 molecular swabs, with a positive percentage of 3.07%. There are also 849 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 141 cases (16.61%) were detected. There are four people hospitalized in intensive care and 155 patients hospitalized in other departments, as announced today by the deputy governor of the Region with responsibility for Health. As for the trend in the spread of the virus among the population, the most affected groups are 60-69 (18.13%) and 50-59 (16.96%) and then 30-39 (15.2 %). There are no deaths today. The total number of deaths amounts to 4,966. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 351,984 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 76,676 in Trieste, 146,296 in Udine, 84,294 in Pordenone, 39,390 in Gorizia and 5,328 from outside the region.
