Maturity: Studenti.it, 33% students have difficulty organizing study and 42% lack interest

Very little is missing from the 2021 maturity exam, the second in covid-19 mode where there is only one test: a maxi oral 60 minutes during which the high school students will play everything in front of an internal commission and an external commission president . This year the maturity comes after a year and a half of dad and with the students tested by the final rush of tests they have faced in recent weeks. From a survey conducted by Studenti.it – ​​in which 43,000 students took part – emerges the difficulty in organizing the study and finding the right concentration but also the demotivation, the little interest in what you are studying. To give support to young people in this phase, Studenti.it highlights, there is still the web: summaries and concept maps are the resources on which the most is drawn. The biggest difficulty: not being able to organize. Among the greatest difficulties faced by young people struggling with a mad and desperate study is the difficulty in organizing the study: this is the case for 33% of the interviewees while 31% complain of not remembering anything after spending hours on books. . 20% report a difficulty in concentrating while 16% are unable to make a timetable. According to 42% of the interviewees, the most distracting is the lack of interest in what they are studying. For 39%, it is the mobile phone that distracts attention from books while for 19% it is noise and confusion that prevent concentration. To support the students’ study there are summaries and concept maps. What is most helpful when studying? 50% have no doubts: the summaries. Concept maps follow – preference of 24% of respondents – and good insights (14%). 9% of graduates prefer to be accompanied by a video while 22% find podcasts more useful.
