McDonald’s, another 2,000 jobs by 2021

McDonald’s adds 2,000 jobs in 2021 to restaurants across Italy. The new hires will join a staff that already has 25,000 employees: of the newly hired 1,000 will be part of the staff of the new restaurants opening in 15 Italian regions in the coming months, while the other 1,000 will be hired to strengthen the staff of some of the restaurants already existing. “Our commitment in the country has an evident economic and social impact, also at the employment level. 92% of the people who work in McDonald’s Italy are hired with a regular and stable contract and the share of women is very high, equal to 62%, as well as that of young people – 50% are under 30 years old and 32% are student ”, explains Valentina Fossa, Chief People Officer at McDonald’s Italy. The new hires will be followed in a training and professional growth path that will enhance everyone’s skills and strengths.
