Covid today Italy, 21,085 infections and 49 deaths: September 23 bulletin

There are 21,085 new Coronavirus infections in Italy today, 23 September 2022, according to Covid data and numbers – region by region – of the Civil Protection bulletin and the Ministry of Health. There are also another 49 deaths for a total of 176,824 victims since the beginning of the pandemic. DATA FROM THE LAZIO REGIONS – There are 2,039 new infections from Coronavirus today, 23 September 2022 in Lazio, according to Covid-19 data in the latest bulletin of the Region. Since yesterday, 3 deaths have been recorded. In the last 24 hours 3,673 molecular swabs and 11,940 antigenic swabs were processed with a positivity rate of 13%. The patients admitted to the medical area are 51 (-7) while the cases of home isolation are 3924 (-118). The death of a 61-year-old man residing in the province of Southern Sardinia is recorded. ABRUZZO – There are 618 new covid infections in Abruzzo according to today’s bulletin, 23 September. There are also another 3 deaths. The total of cases since the beginning of the emergency – net of realignments – rises to 553,180. The death toll rises to 3,663. The number of positive cases also includes 522111 discharged / healed (+980 compared to yesterday). This was communicated by the Regional Health Department specifying that the currently positive in Abruzzo are 27406 (-365 compared to yesterday). Of these, 112 patients (-11 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in the medical area; 2 (+1 compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the rest are in home isolation. Of the total positive cases, 112247 are resident or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+139 compared to yesterday), 157949 in the province of Chieti (+166), 129577 in the province of Pescara (+482), 132879 in the province of Teramo (+134), 12267 outside the region (+11) and 8261 (-314) for which verification of origin is in progress. CALABRIA – There are 571 new infections registered in Calabria today, 23 September 2022, out of 3,297 swabs carried out. This was reported by the Covid-19 emergency bulletin released by the Health Protection Department of the Region which also reports +878 recovered and 4 deaths (for a total of 3,001 deaths). The bulletin also records -311 currently positive, -3 hospitalizations (for a total of 115) and, finally, +1 intensive care (for a total of 6).
