Poste Italiane: Registered1 for fast and urgent deliveries

In collaboration with Postenews Registered Mail 1 of Poste Italiane is the tracked service for the fast delivery of registered correspondence up to 2 kg in weight, designed for those who need a quick and urgent delivery. The service, the company explains, is available at all 12,800 post offices and provides for delivery on the working day following the date of shipment (target achieved in the second half of 2020 for 92.2% of shipments), excluding some routes indicated on the poste.it site. The service can also be used by business customers who can send registered mail 1 to dedicated acceptance centers. Registered 1 Business is also available in the offer with pick up included. Poste Italiane makes two delivery attempts to the recipient’s home and offers free storage for 15 days at the post office if delivery by postman was not possible. Registered mail1, the company emphasizes, is available in the basic version or with proof of delivery, or the postcard that returns to the sender signed by the recipient or by a person authorized to collect. The service is also available in the cash on delivery version, which includes proof of delivery and provides for collection only against payment, by the recipient, of the expected collection. The shipment can be monitored on different channels: on the website www.poste.it with “Cerca Spedizioni”, via SMS (with costs according to your tariff plan), on the toll-free number 803.160 for the consumer customer and 800.160.000 for the business, via the Post Office App, or in the MyPoste reserved area.
