EASTERN SLOVAKIA. In Slovakia, 2,406 people tested positive by PCR tests were added on Tuesday, of which 75.5 percent were not vaccinated. This is 17.28 percent of the 13,927 completed RT-PCR assays.

During the third wave in Slovakia, not so many new infections have been added, a similar number was last here in March this year, during the second wave.

Antigen tests revealed 372 positives, 73 percent of whom were unvaccinated. A total of 19,715 tests were performed during the previous day. The share of positives was 1.89 percent.

The most positively tested RT-PCR tests were in the Žilina Region (589).

They are followed by Prešovský (520), Košický (391), Banskobystrický (301), Trnavský (189), Bratislavský (183), Nitriansky (119) and Trenčín Region (114).

In the east, a total of 911 new cases of the disease were added covid-19.
