LIVERPOOL – Manchester City officials complained that one of the home fans spat on a member of their implementation team after Sunday’s hit of the English Football League in Liverpool (2: 2). According to Sky Sport, the Liverpool management has already started investigating the case.

City coach Pep Guardiola said he did not record the incident during the match and only learned about it later from his colleagues. “I don’t know what happened. I heard something from the stands – something ugly towards the implementation team. But I don’t know exactly what happened, I didn’t see the footage,” said the Spanish coach.

“But I’m absolutely sure that if that happened, Liverpool would take action against that man. Liverpool is bigger than this behavior. Nothing will change in my admiration for this club.
