Sony launches new wireless headphones and earphones

Sony has just introduced two new audio products, a headset and a pair of wireless headphones. Without being upscale, the products offer several interesting new features.

Sony is one of the heavyweights in the sound accessories industry, and the Japanese brand knows it very well. It has just launched two new models of wireless devices, a headset and a pair of headphones.

Regarding the latter, the idea with the WF-C500 is to build affordable wireless headphones, resistant without forgetting the quality of sound which made the DNA of Sony. With a weight of 5.4 grams per earpiece, the Japanese company relies on the lightness of its products so that the user forgets them. For comparison, a Galaxy Buds from Samsung weighs 6.3 grams.

IPX4 certified these headphones guarantee a “stable” port according to the Japanese manufacturer who has despite everything had to make concessions in order to stay within an affordable price range. No multipoint Bluetooth or LDAC codec, for a price that remains below 100 euros. The headphones will be available during October 2021 in four colors: black, white, sea green and coral.

The WH-XB910N: new benchmark in headphones?

Another launch from Sony is a new headset: the WH-XB910N. The design remains very close to the WH-1000XM4, the brand’s top-of-the-range model. The changes are more on the side of the internal functionality of the helmet. Sony promises “A new listening experience” for this helmet which has 40 mm diameter transducers.

The WH-XB910N features manufacturer’s DSEE technology and dual surface microphones to enhance noise reduction. It is also compatible with 360 ° Reality Audio technology to provide 3D audio to users. Sony also offers Fast Pair and Sift Pair and the headset has touch controls to access the controls. Added to this is Google Assistant and Alexa compatibility to keep your hands free in all circumstances.
