VANCOUVER – Slovak hockey goalkeeper Jaroslav Halák will be catching in the goal of the Vancouver Canucks team from the new season. In memory of the deceased Pavel Demitra, he will wear his jersey with the name and number 38 on the back of his mask.

Halák and Demitr played several matches for the national team, with their greatest joint success being the 2010 Olympics.
