NEW YORK – Slovak tennis player Filip Polášek and Australian John Peers made it to the eighth finals of the doubles at the final grand slam tournament of the US Open season.
In the 2nd round, the eighth seed matched the Israeli-South African pair Jonathan Erlich, Lloyd George Harris in two sets 7: 6 (5) and 6: 4. The duel lasted 1:37 h. In the fight for the quarterfinals, Polášek and Peers will meet dozens of spiders from the Dutch, Wesley Koolhof and Jean-Julien Rojer.
