This is how vaccination rates against covid-19 are going in some Latin American countries

(CNN Spanish) – Almost a third of the world population (32.4%) already has applied at least one dose of the vaccine against covid-19, and 24.4% are fully vaccinated, according to figures from Our World In Data.

Some 34.25 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine are applied daily around the world.

In the American continent, 52.63% of the population of North America, and 50.70% of the population of South America, is at least partially vaccinated.

So goes the vaccination against covid-19 in some Latin American countries, with a cut-off date of August 20 or 21, according to available figures for each country:

Here are the vaccination rates of other countries, for comparison: Uruguay is ahead of Spain, which has vaccinated 75.80% of its population with at least one dose.

Chile surpasses France, which accounts for 69.62% of the partially vaccinated population.

Panama is ahead of the United States, which reaches 60.18% of its population partially vaccinated.

Japan has partially vaccinated 51.56%, which leaves it behind Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.

And Australia has vaccinated 42.18% of its population with at least one dose; It is surpassed by El Salvador, Mexico, Cuba and Colombia.
