Netflix price increase: how is it going for Freebox Delta and One subscribers – Univers Freebox

Free provides some details following the increase in Netflix prices for Freebox Delta and One subscribers, benefiting from the Essential offer included.

The SVOD giant is coming to increase its prices in France but some Freebox subscribers are spared. Xavier Niel’s operator thus specifies the situation in which the Freebox Delta and One subscribers find themselves, for whom the essential Netflix formula is included.

No price increase for those who have chosen the basic formula

For the first time since its launch in France, Netflix has revised all of its prices, including that of its essential formula, by increasing it by € 1. However, for Freebox Delta and One subscribers choosing this formula, nothing changes. The package including 1 single screen and SD content is always included at no additional cost.

As a reminder, the essential offer is now offered at € 8.99 when you subscribe, enough to give even more interest to the Freebox Delta offer, since its price remains unchanged.

Subscribers to more expensive formulas are no exception

However, Free offers the opportunity to upgrade to higher plans, allowing access to more screens simultaneously and better definition. For the latter, the increase will take place.

Thus, subscribers who have chosen to upgrade to Netflix Standard or Premium will switch to the new ones and will be notified by email by the end of August. If you have the standard plan, you will pay € 5.5 / month instead of € 4, today and for Premium subscribers, the offer is € 10 / month billed instead of € 8.
