The Xbox Game Pass family plan officially arrived in Latin America – Marca México

Xbox Game Pass, Xbox’s subscription service that allows users to enjoy a wide range of games for a monthly subscription, similar to what could be considered a game streaming service, continues to grow. After the announcement that the idea of creating a family plan was going to be explored, to reduce costs for users, this modality was finally officially rolled out in two territories: in Europe, it was the case of Ireland, while in Latin America it arrived to Colombia. How much does the Xbox Game Pass family plan cost? According to the Xbox Colombia page, the price of the Xbox Game Pass family package costs $49,000 Colombian pesos per month. That is, just under $11 US dollars. The plan can be divided into up to 5, the maximum number of members in each family, so each member would end up paying $9,800 Colombian pesos or a few cents more than $2 dollars. Xbox Colombia There is a restriction that must be taken into account. While there can only be one account at a time on a single family plan, a group can only have 8 different accounts in a year. In other words, the options to enter and leave a group are limited. It is still unknown when the family plan option will arrive at Xbox Game Pass in the rest of the Latin American countries or in other territories. What we do know is why Colombia and Ireland were chosen as the first countries to have access. And it is that both were part of the pilot program to test the capabilities of the service, in a limited number of insiders. We cannot be sure of the price at which the family plan could arrive, especially since it seems that the price is different for each territory. For example, in Ireland the family plan has a monthly price of 21.99 euros, almost $22 dollars. This, in essence, is double what it costs in Colombia. Therefore, we cannot make an estimate in the different markets in which the service will be accessed.
