(AOF) – In the United States, inflation was stable in July over one month. Economists were counting on +0.2% after +1.3% in June. Over one year, it stood at 8.5% against a consensus of 8.7% and after 9.1% in June. Core inflation, excluding energy and food, reached 0.3%. Economists were aiming for +0.5% after +0.7% in June. Over one year, this “core” inflation amounted to 5.9% against a consensus of 6.1% after 5.9% in June.
