Meghan Markle’s dress has been searched for around 21,900 monthly in the UK since her marriage to Prince Harry on May 19, 2018.

This haute-couture outfit, mixing simplicity and modernity, is also the dress of most popular bride of the decade, according to a study relayed by the site Tatler.

This study, conducted by “Find Me A Gift”, is based on the volume of online searches for famous wedding dresses during the 2010s. That of Meghan Markle, with a boat neckline and adorned with a veil of a length of five meters embroidered with flowers representing the 53 countries of the Commonwealth, recorded no less than 21,900 monthly searches on average in the United Kingdom.

The second place in the ranking is occupied by Kate Middleton and her Alexander McQueen dress. Her outfit, designed by designer Sarah Burton, has been the subject of around 21,500 searches in the UK since her marriage to Prince William in April 2011 – barely less than her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle.

With its delicate bodice, its train of 2.70 meters and its Caudry lace, this ivory satin wedding dress is estimated between 210,000 euros and 434,000 euros.

The ranking continues with Hailey Bieber and her Virgil Abloh dress for Off-White, worn in 2018 during her wedding to singer Justin Bieber, as well as Ariana Grande and her Vera Wang Haute Couture dress, sported in May 2021.

Finally, popstar Ellie Goulding closes the top 5 with her fully embroidered and custom-made Chloe dress for her wedding in 2019. It took over 640 hours of work.
