The blue shark is not considered dangerous

In fact, it was a blue shark, a species that is not considered dangerous for humans. The animal, a female, which measures more than two meters and weighs 80 kg, was captured by rescue before being released offshore.

In a press release, the Oceanographic Foundation indicates that the blue shark was “in good health” and that it might have approached the coast due to its “reproductive behavior”.
