Russia has begun returning to Ukraine the bodies of fighters killed in the Azovstal steelworks in the ruined city of Mariupol. In the capital, DNA testing is underway to identify the remains. This was announced by Maxy Zhorin, military commander and former leader of the Azov Regiment, whose fighters also belonged to the defenders of the steelworks. The Azov Regiment, together with other units of the Ukrainian forces, defended the huge steelworks for almost three months, then at the command of the Ukrainian army they laid down their weapons.
