It will retrieve the information (vehicle speed, temperature, engaged gear, etc.) from the vehicle (certainly via Bluetooth, but also via USB) and then display it, with a style specific to iOS and Apple. The American company specifies that CarPlay will adapt to all compatible vehicles, regardless of the shape and size of its screens. You will of course need a digital screen to be able to display iOS 16 information on the instrument cluster, in addition to the screen dedicated to infotainment.
