OnePlus 10 is the huge leak: technical sheet unveiled and two big surprises – Frandroid

In collaboration with the Indian site Digit, the OnLeaks leaker believes he knows a large part of the technical characteristics of the OnePlus 10. With, as a result, a nice surprise in terms of load and a bad one in terms of design. But once the latter catapulted onto the market, eyes logically turned to his friend. In reality, the Chinese brand did not give any information about it, even questioning its existence. It took until February 2022 for a first credible leak about the OnePlus 10 to point the tip of its nose. And this time, a new discretion all the more reliable, because signed OnLeaks, tends both to confirm its existence and to draw the first outlines of a solid technical sheet on paper. A screen worthy of a top of the range In collaboration with the Indian site Digit, OnLeaks revealed a nice batch of technical characteristics. Nothing is obviously set in stone, but know that the person concerned is considered one of the most reliable leakers. Enough chatter, let’s get to the heart of the matter. The front of the OnePlus 10 Pro // Source: Anthony Wonner – Frandroid The OnePlus 10 could be armed with a 6.7-inch screen, OLED, in Full HD + definition. All that is most normal for a high-end phone, in short. The company would also opt for a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which could vary between 1 and 120 Hz thanks to LTPO 2.0 technology. Remember that a high refresh rate provides an excellent feeling of fluidity in use. For its part, LTPO 2.0 technology allows the screen to drop very low in frequencies when necessary, in order to consume less energy. As a result, autonomy is better preserved. Insane fast charging On the choice of processor, OnePlus would hesitate between the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ – which has not yet been announced – and the Dimensity 9000 from Mediatek. No surprise in terms of the software interface, since OxygenOS 12 would run on Android 12, the latest major version of Google’s operating system. For the photo, there will be change. Last year, the OnePlus 9 opted for a 48-megapixel wide-angle, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. This time around, here’s what OnePlus would have in store for its successor: 50-megapixel main sensor; 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle; 2 megapixel macro sensor; 32 megapixel selfie sensor. Two big surprises, and not the least, could also be in the game. The first concerns recharging, which would increase to 150 W in order to recharge its 4800 mAh battery in a period of time that we imagine very short. Obviously, the fast charge war is still in full swing. No more Alert Sliders? The other surprise, bad this time, concerns the potential absence of the Alert Slider. This small hardware slider placed on the edge of the phone allows you to put your device in silent, mute or vibration mode. This latch is a true trademark of the OnePlus brand. However, it would not be the first time that we would see it disappear from a phone: the OnePlus Nord CE 2 is indeed an orphan. Hopefully it doesn’t become a bad habit. No bet has been made on the price of the OnePlus 10. On the other hand, its presentation date could come more in the second half of the year rather than the first. OnePlus will hold a conference on April 28. This should be an opportunity for the manufacturer to unveil its OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite, OnePlus 10R 5G smartphones and OnePlus Nord Buds headphones.
