Ukraine, NowForTheKids: Sky initiative for refugee children is underway

NowForTheKids, the Sky initiative, which, through its streaming service Now, aims to offer moments of leisure to Ukrainian refugee children, following the dramatic humanitarian crisis, kicks off today. Children hosted in Italy will thus be able to see cartoons and series for children subtitled or dubbed in their mother tongue with a catalog destined to be enriched in the coming weeks. Thanks to the support of the Civil Protection Department, the Italian Red Cross and the regional civil protection structures, the codes that will allow the viewing of all the contents of the Kids area of ​​the Now app will be distributed in the places that host Ukrainian refugees in Italy. , on all devices for six months after activation. The programs for children in Ukrainian will also be available on Sky Q and Sky Go to be enjoyed by families who already subscribe and host refugees in their homes. The initiative remains open to new contributions and collaborations, with the aim of increasing the number and variety of language content available. “It is our way of expressing all our closeness to Ukrainian families by offering the thousands of children hosted in Italy a few hours of entertainment with entertainment content in their mother tongue.
