Accusations of Fico and Kaliňák On Thursday, the NAKA investigator also processed a motion to file a custody of the accused ex-minister. “This is due to a legitimate fear that it will act on witnesses, experts, fellow defendants or otherwise frustrate the clarification of the facts relevant to the prosecution,” police explain. According to the Special Prosecutor’s Office, the NAKA investigator charged Fica with Kaliňák with the crime of founding, conceiving and supporting a criminal group, the misuse of power by a public official, as well as the repeated crime of endangering trade, banking, postal, telecommunications and tax secrets.
