The lawyers of former agent Derek Chauvin, convicted of the murder of African American George Floyd, have appealed and asked for a retrial. And that’s because, says attorney Eric Nelson, the Minneapolis policeman was denied the right to a fair trial. Chauvin faces up to 40 years in prison.
