Zuzana Kronerová was born on April 17, 1952 in Martin to a family of actors Jozef Kroner and Terezia, née Hurbanová. Originally she wanted to study languages ​​or dramaturgy, but in the end she decided to act at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. After graduating from school in 1974, she got a job at the Theater for Children and Youth (now the Ján Palárik Theater) in Trnava. In the years 1979 – 1987 she worked on the Bratislava New Stage and for some time she was a part of the Slovak National Theater. At the beginning of the 1990s, she became a member of the Astorka Korzo ’90 Theater in Bratislava, with which she collaborates to this day. Directed by Vladimír Strnisko, she performed as Konstancia (Amadeus, 1982) alongside Milan Kňažek on the New Stage, highlighted the tragic dimension of her acting as Varia (Cherry Orchard, 1984) and can also be remembered as the loved peasant Maturina from Don Juan. (1986). The most prominent figures she played on Astorca’s soil are her own mothers.
