War in Ukraine: impressive images of a 60 km Russian military convoy at the gates of Kiev

Several satellite images, captured this Monday, February 28, testify to the magnitude of the forces that Russia puts in its objective of reaching Kiev. Indeed, a huge military convoy could be spotted thanks to its images.

In the images below, released by Maxar Technologies, the convoy is located north and south of Ivankiv, which is an urban commune in Kiev Oblast, located about 80 kilometers from the Ukrainian capital.

More than 60 kilometers of convoy

According to the information broadcast by AFPthe convoy is particularly long, about 64 kilometers and according to Maxar, “some vehicles are sometimes very distant from each other and, on other portions, the military equipment is positioned two or three abreast”.

If until now, the Ukrainian armed forces have succeeded in repelling the Russian army, the noose seems to be tightening. This Monday, the Russian column is only a few kilometers from Kiev.
