(CNN) — Actress Linsey Pearlman, who was reported missing on Wednesday, has been found dead in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) announced in a press release.

Officers responded to a call for a death investigation in Hollywood on Friday morning around 8:30 a.m. local time, according to the release.

Police said the actress was last seen on Sunday, before her friends and family enlisted the public’s help in finding her.

“Pearlman was unable to return home and has not been seen or heard from since,” the LAPD said in a news release Wednesday.
