Christian Eriksen: Denmark, Belgium and everyone in the stadium pay tribute to him at minute 10 of the Eurocup match

(CNN Spanish) – The Danish and Belgian soccer teams, as well as the refereeing body and everyone at the Parken Stadium, located in the Danish capital Copenhagen, paid tribute this Thursday to the footballer Christian Eriksen, who on Saturday June 12 collapsed in the match of his team against Finland.

Before the start of the match between Belgium and Denmark, a giant t-shirt on the field with Eriksen’s number 10.

After this initial tribute, the match began, which had an early excitement with a goal at minute 2 by Denmark. The scorer was Yussuf Poulsen.

The next tribute came at minute 10. The actions stopped and there was a minute of applause in honor of Christian Eriksen, who is recovering in hospital.

The fans in the stands were not far behind and unfolded a blanket that, translated into Spanish, says “All Denmark is with you, Christian.”

The tribute was given in the 10th minute due to the number that Christian Eriksen uses on his shirt.

In the second half, Kevin De Bruyne, a Manchester City figure, entered the game and with him changed the course of the game.

Thorgan Hazard’s tying goal came first in the 54th minute; assistance was provided by De Bruyne.

Then, in the 70th minute, Kevin De Bruyne shot near the large area with his left foot to beat Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel. The City midfielder did not celebrate the goal because of Eriksen’s situation.

The match ended with a score of 2-1 in favor of Belgium.
