The websites of major American airlines went haywire. This was revealed by Downdetector, an online platform that monitors the status of various websites and apps. The Internet sites of American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines and Delta Air Lines were interrupted. Downdetector reports that there are thousands of user reports for problems accessing the Southwest Airlines site and over 400 with Delta Air Lines.
