This was announced by Israeli Prime Minister Neftali Bennett and Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz, anticipating that new restrictions could be introduced in the coming days. Under current guidelines, all returning Israelis from overseas must comply with a quarantine period until they receive a negative coronavirus test result. Instead, Israelis from high-risk countries are required to isolate themselves in a quarantine hotel until they receive a negative test result.
