Especially since in addition to Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC, a third subscription, the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate added a little more confusion.

To announce this clarification, Microsoft has chosen to go through the Xbox Game Pass PC Twitter account (which for the moment retains its old name in passing). In a terse message, the Redmond firm wrote: “We heard a rumor that we are in the process of changing the logo and name. The rumor is true. “

The new name of Xbox Game Pass for PC is therefore PC Game Pass, quite simply. The Xbox logo is still visible, but the more allusion to Microsoft’s console in the name is gone. All the visuals of the twitter account in question have already adopted the new name.
