The XV of France women signed Saturday, November 20 in Castres a second convincing victory in the space of a week against New Zealand (29-7), reigning world champion.

With less than a year before the next World Cup, which will take place in New Zealand, the Blue have thus concluded their autumn series with a clear round, with three successes in three tests.

After having easily disposed of South Africa (46-3) in Vannes on November 6, then the New Zealand Black Ferns (38-13) last week in Pau, they scored four tries on Saturday, including two for the wing Marie-Aurélie Castel, against only one for their opponent.

In a sold-out Pierre-Fabre stadium (11,300 spectators), the French women, never worried, were superior in almost all areas of play, especially in touch.

The men’s XV of France will in turn face New Zealand on Saturday night at the Stade de France.
