It is all ready. Tomorrow, after ten years of hiatus, one of the most classic events of international powerboating returns: the Pavia-Venice Raid. The 69th edition – organized by the Pavia Motorboat Association, in collaboration with the Venice Motorboat Association and under the aegis of the Italian Motorboat Federation – will see around 100 crews from all over the world competing. Small variation on the route, due to the lack of water in the first section between Pavia and Isola Serafini. The transfer stage, in fact, has been canceled and the boats will be transported by trolley to San Nazzaro d’Ongina, from where the race will start. From here on, amateurs of the genre and big names in international motor boating will compete such as Lino Di Biase, Guido Cappellini, Drew Langdon, Giuliano Landini, Serafino Barlesi and Giampaolo Montavoci, as well as two sportsmen such as the former skier Kristian Ghedina, and the sailor Luca Tosi It will be possible to follow the boats in the race, thanks to GPS tracking, on a dedicated platform and accessible from the following link: https://www.seguimi.live/it/69-raid-pavia-venezia-2021.
