“There are no criminal correlations” between the administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine and the death of the teacher from Gela, Zelia Guzzo, 37, “attributable to doctors or health workers who treated the woman”. This is why the Prosecutor of Gela, as Adnkronos learns, has closed the investigation and requested the dismissal of the criminal proceedings against unknown persons for manslaughter. The teacher was given the vaccine last March 1 and died three weeks later. Days after the administration of AstraZeneca the woman began to experience severe headache and confusion. After being transported to the Vittorio Emanuele hospital in Gela, the transfer to Sant’Elia in Caltanissetta was arranged where he had undergone a delicate neurosurgery. The doctors had tried to stop the edema, but there was nothing for the woman to do after 13 days of hospitalization. The Prosecutor of Gela had opened a file and seized the medical records and documentation about the vaccine. According to the first medical findings, the woman was affected by thrombosis and cerebral haemorrhage: she had no previous diseases. The results of the medico-legal consultation were sent to the Higher Institute of Health and Aifa, as explained by the Prosecutor Fernando Asaro.
