There are 291 coronavirus infections in Tuscany today, May 18, according to data from the region’s bulletin anticipated by governor Eugenio Giani. “We had not had such a low number of new daily positives since January 19, 2021 (241 cases), let’s not let our guard down!”, Writes Giani on social media. “The new cases registered in Tuscany are 291 out of 19,713 tests of which 9,409 molecular swabs and 10,304 rapid tests. The rate of new positives is 1.48% (4.7% on the first diagnoses)”, he adds, highlighting that the vaccines currently administered are 1,722,210.
