The uncle of the Bianchi brothers arrested: he has to serve 5 years for drugs

Vito Bianchi, uncle of the brothers Marco and Gabriele Bianchi, now on trial for the murder of Willy Monteiro Duarte, was arrested by the carabinieri of the Colleferro company, directed by Vittorio De Lisa. The 54-year-old man was already under house arrest and today will be transferred to prison in Rebibbia on the basis of a jail order from the Court of Velletri for a cumulative sentence for drug-related offenses. The disputed facts date back to a few years ago and in any case are prior to Willy’s murder. Vito Bianchi had made an application to ask for assignment to the social service but the Supervisory Court declared the appeal inadmissible and found it incompatible with home detention. For this he will now have to serve five years in prison and pay a fine of 20 thousand euros. The uncle of the Bianchi brothers, a construction worker, was arrested in June and October 2019 for detention for the purpose of drug dealing. He was also charged with an attempted escape in July 2020. Last February he went from house arrest to house detention.
