Migrants, still landings in Lampedusa: 110 in the night on the island

Still landings of migrants in Lampedusa. After a respite lasting almost 10 days on the largest of the Pelagie, landings have resumed. Between yesterday and Thursday 113 migrants reached the island, in the night just passed, however, two other events were recorded. A small boat with 8 men of Tunisian nationality was intercepted 20 miles southwest of the island by the men of the Financial Police. The migrants were transhipped and the boat left adrift. Shortly afterwards, the patrol boats of the Yellow Flames entered the Favaloro pier with 102 people, all men of sub-Saharan nationality, tracked down 7 miles southwest of Lampedusa. All, after an initial health triage, were taken to the hotspot in the Imbriacola district.
