Still weather alert on Sicily. The Regional Civil Protection has issued a warning for weather-hydrogeological and hydraulic risk valid until midnight today, Thursday 28 October. The alarm mainly concerns eastern Sicily where the alert is orange. From the afternoon, a new depression vortex rising from the Libyan Sea will in fact tend to affect the southernmost sectors of Italy again. Rains and thunderstorms are expected that will affect Sicily and will subsequently extend to Calabria on Friday. A consistent increase in ventilation will be associated with the disturbed weather. The notice provides for scattered rainfall, mainly stormy, on Sicily from today afternoon. The phenomena will be accompanied by strong showers, local hailstorms, frequent electrical activity and strong gusts of wind.
