No surprise. Slovan succeeded in Košice, Trenčín scored goals in the end – PRAVDA.sk

After the players of Trnava and Žiar nad Hronom, the championship Slovan Bratislava, Trenčín and Ružomberok also made it to the eighth finals of the Slovak Cup in football 2021/2022 (Slovnaft Cup) from the highest domestic competition.

Pohronie secured the promotion already during the last week, Trnava on Tuesday on the ground of Podbrezová succeeded in a penalty shootout. Trenčín, Slovan and Ružomberok continued on Wednesday. The first two mentioned teams managed their fights with the opponents, Liptáci at home.

Trenčians really suffered in Príbelcie, when they scored all three goals in the 3-0 triumph in the final ten minutes.

Jakub Kadák scored twice in the list of shooters (once from the penalty kick), one goal was scored by the home team themselves. Slovan had less work with the process, winning 5: 0 in Košice nad Sláviou HERE.

The only goal of the guests in the first half was scored by Dejan Dražič, who completed the hat-trick after changing sides. After one accurate hit of the favorite, Samuel Mráz and Matúš Vojtko recorded.

The people of Ružomberok also succeeded in the final match of Wednesday’s program, Lipany defeated just 1: 0 from the lower competition. Tomáš Bobček scored the only goal in the 75th.

Among the fortunaligists in the following week, fights await Senica, Žilina, Zlaté Moravce and Michalovce. Dunajská Streda, Liptovský Mikuláš and Sereď are already out of the game.
