Google remembers Avicii, today the DJ would have turned 32 years old

Google remembers Avicii, the Swedish DJ and producer who died in 2018 at the age of 28: today’s doodle is dedicated to the artist, born Tim Bergling, who would have turned 32 today. The death of Avicii, found lifeless in Muscat, Oman, was at the center of speculation and indiscretion for days, before the release with which the family confirmed the rumors relating to the suicide. The artist, one of the stars of Electronic Dance Music, had won two MTV Music Awards, a Billboard Music Award and two Grammy nominations in his career. His main success was ‘Le7els’. Avicii, who had been in the breach since 2011 with nearly 300 live dates, in 2012 had embellished his resume with remixes of ‘Girls Gone Wild’ by Madonna and ‘Superlove’ by Lenny Kravitz at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami. After suffering from pancreatitis, he underwent surgery in 2014 for the removal of his gallbladder and appendix. For health reasons, in 2016, he had abandoned live performances, continuing to work in the studio. “I took the time to drive around the United States with my friends and co-workers, just to see things differently – he wrote in an open letter – It really helped me realize I needed changes.”
