‘IllusiOcean’, Orlandi (UniBicocca): “This is how we brought together skills and dissemination”

Open to the public from 13 October 2021 to 31 January 2022, the multimedia exhibition ‘IllusiOcean, the sea you don’t expect’ has as its frame the Science Gallery of the University of Milan – Bicocca. The exhibition uses the different languages of the visual arts to involve the visitor and transport him into the ‘sea of knowledge’ that the University has to offer regarding marine biodiversity and the protection of the oceans. The Deputy Rector of the University of Milan-Bicocca, Marco Orlandi, explains the intent with which the exhibition was designed: “Combining skills with dissemination is the key to bringing young people closer to the major issues that concern us very closely, even if we don’t always realize it. Among these there is undoubtedly the protection of the environment and its biodiversity. As a University we have a lot of skills but our goal is to share this know-how with citizens and in particular with young people “.
