The Antitrust green light for the acquisition of Lis is given to Poste

Green light by the Antitrust for the acquisition, by Poste through Poste Pay, of 100% of the share capital of Lis. This is what emerges from the weekly bulletin of the Agcm. The Authority has decided not to initiate the investigation indicating that the transaction in question does not determine, pursuant to article 6, paragraph 1, of law no. 287/90, the establishment or strengthening of a dominant position in the affected markets, such as to substantially and permanently eliminate or reduce competition. Lis Holding SpA is a company 100% controlled by Igt Lottery SpA, in turn controlled exclusively by Igt Lottery Holdings BV, with sole shareholder International Game Technology PLC, in turn controlled by De Agostini SpA with an absolute majority stake , reads the bulletin. Lis Holding SpA holds 100% of the capital of Lis Pay, a company that offers a wide range of services through the management of a technological platform that supports and enables, at the affiliated merchants – about 55,000 affiliated points of sale (of which 33,000 tobacconists) -, mainly the provision of collection and payment services.
