Cybersecurity, Thales will make 1000 hires in 2022

Thales expands its cybersecurity perimeter and announces a substantial hiring plan this year. The announcement came during a press conference convened by the French multinational this afternoon in Paris, and talked about it was by Thales’s EVP, Secure Communications & Information Systems, Marc Darmon. The manager reported that Thales expects to hire 1000 people this year in the cybersecurity sector to meet the advisory needs of a dynamic market that expects very significant growth through 2025. Thales is therefore strengthening its road map in technologies for IT security and has already announced on 17 May the acquisition of two major IT security companies S21sec and Excellium, among the main European players in IT security consulting, integration and services in Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg and Belgium. “This is a major European acquisition in the cybersecurity sector,” said Thales.
