Sace and the Bper Banca group strengthen their collaboration by signing an agreement which aims to support Italian companies that intend to invest to reduce their environmental impact. The partnership provides that Sace can guarantee the ‘green’ loans disbursed by the Bper Banca Group in Italy, i.e. aimed at the implementation of climate change mitigation and prevention projects, reduction of polluting activities, protection of water and marine resources, protection and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystems, sustainable mobility, circular economy, in line with the taxonomy defined by the European Union. The companies receiving the loans, joint-stock companies with a turnover of up to 500 million euros, will be able to benefit from the 80% green guarantee of Sace, issued at market conditions, through a standardized and digitized process. “The agreement with Sace – explains Stefano Rossetti – deputy general manager of Bper Banca – represents a further step in our broad proposal of financial solutions to support the energy transition of companies towards production models with a lower environmental impact, also in line with the objectives of the Pnrr.
